Testing for emergency

Lumos Controls' emergency lighting solution guides occupants to egress pathways during an emergency. Also, regularly run self-tests and maintenance, ensuring the lighting network is always up-to-date. The solution provides two types of tests.

Function test

This test checks the operation of the emergency light source from the battery supply and gives quick feedback on the device, battery, and lamp statuses. 

Test Duration: 1-3 hours and is usually carried out annually

Duration test

This test give feedback on the device’s current battery status, lamp status and ensures that the battery operate the lamp for the full rated duration.
