Background
Poppleton East needed a lighting system that could respond to occupancy, provide convenient manual control and simplify management across the property.
The goal was straightforward: make lighting easier to use, reduce unnecessary operation and avoid adding extensive control wiring.
Lumos Controls delivered a wireless Bluetooth Mesh solution combining fixture controllers, room controllers, motion-sensing dimmers, multi-button wall controllers and a central gateway.

How the Lumos Controls Solution Works
Radiar AF10 controllers brought wireless ON/OFF and 0–10 V dimming control to compatible lighting fixtures.
Motion sensor dimmer switches allowed the lights to respond automatically when spaces were occupied while giving users convenient manual control.
WiSilica-enabled room controllers coordinated lighting within individual rooms, and four-button wall controllers provided access to dimming, scenes and assigned lighting groups.
The Enor E gateway connected everything to the Lumos Controls management interface for centralized configuration, scheduling, monitoring and remote access.

AC Powered Wireless Microwave Motion & Light Sensor – Cyrus AM
Cyrus AM sensors complemented the PIR sensors in selected areas where microwave sensing offered improved coverage. Together, the two sensor technologies helped provide responsive and dependable lighting automation throughout the facility.
