Omaha Face Clinic wanted a smarter lighting control solution that could enhance patient comfort, simplify day-to-day lighting management, and improve energy efficiency across treatment rooms, offices, and shared spaces. 

Lumos Controls delivered a flexible wireless lighting ecosystem with intelligent dimming, occupancy sensing, and seamless room-level control to create a modern and welcoming healthcare environment.

Challenges 

The clinic required lighting that could balance visual comfort, functionality, and energy efficiency across different spaces with varying occupancy patterns. 

Treatment and consultation rooms required flexible dimming and scene control, while offices and utility spaces needed automated lighting operation to reduce unnecessary energy consumption. The solution also needed to remain simple, wireless, and easy to manage. 

Lumos Controls Solution 

Lumos Controls implemented a comprehensive wireless lighting control system tailored to the operational requirements of Wood River Senior Center. 

Radiar AF10 – Wireless 0–10V Fixture Controller 

Radiar AF10 controllers were installed throughout the clinic to provide reliable wireless fixture control and smooth dimming performance across multiple lighting zones. 

PSC-DM-WS-100-BLE-WS – Motion Sensor Dimmer Switch 

Installed in offices, storage rooms, and utility areas, the Bluetooth enabled motion sensor dimmer switches automated lighting based on occupancy while allowing manual user control when required. 

PSC-DM-WS-400-BLE-WS – 4 Button Wireless Wall Controller

Installed in multipurpose and shared spaces where multiple lighting scenes were required, including consultation mode, treatment mode, and ambient lighting settings. 

Enor E Gateway 

The Enor E gateway connected all wireless devices into one intelligent lighting network, enabling centralized scheduling, remote management, and simplified system control. 

ESRN + AF10 Fixture Control Solution 

The Enor E gateway connected all wireless devices into one intelligent lighting network, enabling centralized scheduling, remote management, and simplified system control. 

ESRN + PSC-WCM-450-BLE-WS – Wireless Wall Controller 

Wireless wall controllers were installed in multipurpose rooms and shared spaces to provide intuitive local control and quick lighting adjustments for staff and residents. 

PSC-WCM-450-BLE-WS – WiSilica Enabled Room Controller

Integrated to provide seamless communication between devices and dependable room-level control throughout the clinic. 

PSC-DM-I-WS-100-BLE-WS – Intelligent Motion Sensor Dimmer 

Used in selected occupancy-based zones to automate lighting control while supporting dimming and energy-saving functionality. 

Cyrus AP – Wireless PIR Motion & Light Sensor 

Ceiling-mounted and surface-mounted Cyrus AP sensors were deployed in corridors, waiting areas, and shared spaces to automatically activate lighting when occupancy was detected and reduce lighting when spaces became vacant.
